I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.

I love yoga, and I especially love to teach and share the practices of yoga. My physical yoga practice began over 20 years ago and I have integrated it into my daily life ever since. As most students know, sometimes practice feels strong and inspiring and other times it feels like an awkward task, requiring us to work through the mental and emotional nuances and physical injuries. But the truth is that there is benefit to it all.
My teaching is rooted in a playful, thoughtful, and energetic flow to open the physical body and deepen mental awareness, awakening the spirit. I believe that yoga is accessible to every individual; the mind is what holds us back from recognizing our highest potential, not tight hamstrings, hips, or shoulders.
I have been a lifelong educator in diverse fields with a Master’s degree in Education and Human Development and over 1,500 hours of yoga teacher training. I am passionate about all aspects of yoga and strive to guide yoga practitioners to a deeper understanding of breath, mindfulness, and conscious movement.
